The Studio

In Spring 2015 I decided to build a mancave.  I didn't know what I was going to do in it, just stuff I suppose, but I needed a project for the Summer.

I worked in a factory on Teesside that had a large turnover in wood pallets that I could get at quite a low cost.  This seemed like the ideal building material, repurposing and very sustainable.

My initial design had the shed in the corner of our very small back garden.  It would be 3 pallets square (about 3m by 3m).

Step 7 - protect from the elements with some cedarwood shingles

Step 8 - install a chimney for a wood burner and a protective fire place from pebbles
